pre-flop raise in limit holdem

This is my first blog here, and I want to start out with a pet peeve. I play limit holdem mostly as a way to avoid bad beats when my luck isn't running in no limit. That being said, I have, over time been winner in the game.

My style of play is to play 100% and get out cheap if I don't hit. This brings up the thing that I don't understand, and want to, the pre-flop raise.

Lets say we are playing a 10/20 game, and i lead out for 10. I am not going to fold to a pre-flop raise of 10! There are 2 possibilities:

1. the raiser has a good hand - why are they advertising it now if they can't chase anyone off?

2. the raiser is trying to bluff ... really? ...for 10?

Either way, I watch people lose a lot of chips that way, as any 2 cards can win.

The thing that bothers me, of course, is that i am trying to get in and out cheap, and i can't do that if someone is pre flop raising every hand.

I usually just jump tables after the 2nd or third in a row - taking that tables money with me ...

If I am wring here, please educate me.

God, I love poker ...
